About Me
Quote: "I love life, the opposite sex, music, art & literature and I'm a hopeless romantic. I love French cuisine (and lots of that lovely red wine from Provence)" Favourite cities: Paris, Amsterdam, Aix-en-Provence, Cologne, Minneapolis and Philadelphia. Yes, I guess London & Hereford get on this list too.

Like most people I have a hero......but not a pop idol. (Sorry to Posh Spice!) This guy went to hell and back just for you and I approximately 2000 years ago.

There's nothing more relaxing for me than to get in the kitchen with garlic, fresh vegetables and red, red wine.

Other influences on my musical journey were Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Tom Paxton and many of the heroes of the 60's folk revival who thankfully reached beyond the banalities of Moons in June & 18 wheels ran over my heart. Many are trying to keep the folk scene alive. Check these links out

My musical legacy springs largely from family sing-songs around the piano (played by my father) and harmonies became a natural thing for my sister and I when we sang those early Everly Brothers hits. Long standing musical friends include John Harflett (of Dawnwind) and Vicky Gilbert (Pure Silk), also Simon, and my sons Tim & Dave (The Romantics), Paul Boyce, Will Thomas & Malcolm Jay (Talisman), Ron & Bo Walton, Indi Hawkes, Barbara, and too many more to mention. Another thing to make me happy - I now have a lovely grand-daughter.

Yes, there is actually one thing better than cooking! Two if I'm really naughty. The best thing that's happened to me was one of my dearest friends becoming a qualified masseuse and she restored my health and general well being.
