The Romantics come from the idyllic Wye Valley in England, and started as a four piece line-up with John Perkins, his two sons Tim & Dave, and Simon Ferris.
These days only two, the writing team, John and Simon are continuing with the recording of material for a new album.
Favourite Bands and influences include The Beatles, and a wide range of other music from Classical to heavy rock, and even soul music.
The Romantics assembled in 1992 when the first album Mon Amie was released in Europe, followed by a single from the album, Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder. This single achieved airplay all across Europe, most notably on Radio 1 in the UK.
